Painful Rugby

Sports is exercising your body and is very fun! I like watching and really I enjoy winning. My favourite sport to watch and play is rugby because it’s exciting to watch players getting munched in painful tackles. I also enjoy watching players getting bumped off by bigger and stronger players than them. It’s funny to watch them fall on the ground!

I think that the hardest thing in a game of rugby is the scrum because you are all stuck together and you have to push the other team away to win the ball. I think I would be very squished in a scrum. I wouldn’t feel scared though because i’m too brave!

I can’t wait for the All Blacks next game and I hope they smash the Irish team by scoring losts of runaway tries!

Art Alive

First day of Term 2 I was excited about coming back to school. While we were in the hall I was looking around at all the teachers dressed in different costumes. I thought that they all looked funny. I was thinking, "what are we learning about this term?" Mr Burt came out in his skeleton costume and told us that the topic for this term is Art Alive!

I was in shock that we were learning about Art. I felt nervous because I was going to be learning something new. In room 16 we have been learning about artists like Picasso. Picasso is very famous for his cool art work. I like Picasso because his art is different to other artists.

Immersion Assembly

As soon as we walked into the hall I saw the teachers wearing funny clothes and wigs. It was time for our Immersion Assembly
My favourite team was team five because they had the Star Wars movie. It was cool.

I liked team 1 too. It was fun and made me laugh. I liked it because it had a funny dance.They were doing a rap about the planets.

Swimming

For the past 2 weeks we have being swimming. Miss V. taught us how to do backstroke. To do back stroke we must lay on our back in the water. One arm at a time in the water going over our heads.
